Arsenal Beat Everton, Crown Man City Premier League Champions

Late Havertz Goal Secures Gunners Victory

Kai Havertz's late goal earned Arsenal a 2-1 victory over Everton on the final day of the Premier League season, but it was not enough to secure the title as Manchester City beat West Ham 3-1 to retain the crown.

Gunners Fall Short of Title

Despite Arsenal's victory, it was City who celebrated a fourth title in five years. The Gunners finished just two points behind Pep Guardiola's side, but their ultimately fell short in their quest for a first Premier League title since 2004.

Arsenal took the lead at Goodison Park through Bukayo Saka's first-half strike. However, Everton equalized through Richarlison after the break.

Just when it seemed like Arsenal would have to settle for a draw, Havertz popped up with a late winner to send the travelling fans into raptures.

Havertz the Hero

Havertz's goal was his 10th of the season and his most important. The German midfielder has been in impressive form for Arsenal this season and his late winner was a just reward for his efforts.

Arsenal will now turn their attention to next season, where they will be hoping to challenge for the title once more. The Gunners have a number of exciting young players in their squad and they will be confident of mounting a serious challenge for the Premier League trophy in the years to come.
